Monica Chacón 2017

 Hours:32

During the summer I attended classes in the Model Agency of Monica Chacon. The classes gave me great advice and helped me develop my skills within the fashion and modelling industry. Thanks to this activity I will earn 32 creativity hours as I received four hours a week of modelling training during two months (eight weeks). My CAS supervisor is Monica Chacon and Claudia who were my modelling coaches.

In this activity I learnt the “soldier pose”, how to properly walk down the runway, I took colour classes as well as makeup classes, and finally, we participated in a photoshoot.

What I gained from taking these classes was self-confidence. I found out that I liked being in the fashion industry and that it is something that I had fun with and at the same time it relaxed me. In this classes, I met a wonderful team of girls that supported each other and we became a big family

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth; --> It was my first time taking this type of classes where I developed confidence skills.

LO2: Demonstrate the challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process; --> I found it difficult to apply makeup to myself but at the end of the course my technique improved.

LO4: Show commitment and perseverance in CAS experiences; --> I attended all the classes.

LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively;.--> The team and I worked together during the photoshoot and when there was a catwalk of three we gave feedback to help each other improve.

LO6: Demonstrate engagement in issues of global significance -->During one course we helped an NGO to build houses in el Callao
